Murder Mystery Dinner
Join us for an evening of surprise and intrigue as we open the ballroom and watch the mystery unfold!
The mystery begins at 7pm. Guests are welcome to arrive early and enjoy a drink at the Tavern Bar before being seated in the ballroom.
Each Ticket includes:
On Arrival to the Ballroom- Mixed Green Salad and Rolls
8pm- Buffet Dinner
Roasted Seasonal Vegetables
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Mississippi Pot Roast
Chicken French
Petit Fours Dessert Family Style
Tables will be set up for groups of approximately 8 people. If you are part of a smaller party, you may be seated with other guests. Parties larger than 8 may be accommodated together or at tables next to one another. This event is interactive!
Tickets are $65 each including the show and dinner. Tickets are limited!
Cancellations within 2 weeks of the show are not eligible for refunds. Requests for allergy/ diet accommodations need to be made at the time of reservation.

Join us for an intimate candlelit dinner featuring a carefully curated prix-fixe menu inspired by bygone Big Tree Inn menus. Each course pays tribute to the flavors and traditions that have welcomed generations of travelers and diners for more than 160 years.

Breakfast with Santa
Join us at the Big Tree Inn for a magical morning and a Breakfast With Santa!
Santa Claus will be visiting the inn from 9am to 11am on Sunday, December 13th. Guests will have the opportunity to visit and take a picture with Santa beginning at 9am before enjoying breakfast.
Breakfast buffet served between 9:30am-11:00am and including french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, cut fruit, breakfast breads, lemonade, coffee, and a hot chocolate station. Cash bar for mimosas and bloody marys will be available.
Children ages 12 and under $21. Adults $34.

Speed Dating at the Big Tree Inn
Join us for an evening of connections at the Big Tree Inn!
Come early and join us for Cocktail Hour and to check in from 6pm-6:45pm. Dates begin promptly at 7pm.
Guests and friends are welcome to mingle at the tavern bar after dates if they choose. Late night bar bites menu served 8-9pm.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet at least 5 but not more than 8 matches of the opposite gender in a speed dating format. “Dates” will be 5 minutes each and at the conclusion of all the dates, guests will submit their sparks to event organizers. Matches will be shared via email to each guest within 24 hours of the event.

Move-In Day Happy Hour
Hey Geneseo freshman families, we see you preparing to carry that mini-fridge up to your newly minted college student's 3rd floor walk-up dorm room. We know you're going to follow it up with three trips up and down the hilliest campus this side of the Rocky's (worth it for those Sunset's though!) to gather all the things you need from different offices. So when you've finally finished unpacking the Subaru and can see out the back window again and you're done saying those tearful goodbyes, we've got the spot for you.
Geneseo's Main Street community has a Welcome Stroll planned for anyone interested in learning more about what the Geneseo downtown community has to offer your family during your time here in Geneseo. Buddy up with one of the tour guides for a guided tour of Main St businesses.
And end it with a Happy Hour Event at the Big Tree Inn. Trevor Donlon plays on the porch, drink and food specials for a warm welcome to town, and a chance to find YOUR new BFF for your kid's next four years.

New Year's Eve Party 2024
We are ready to celebrate! Come send off 2024 and help us welcome in the New Year at the Big Tree Inn!
December 31st we’re throwing a party to remember. Dress your best and party on. DJ Simsound gets the party going in the ballroom at 8:30pm all the way until 12:30pm.
$20 ticket includes event entry late night taco station, a dessert bar, and a bubbly toast at midnight. Cash Bar.
The Big Tree Inn will only be open for Prix-Fixe dinner reservations and the New Year’s Eve Party on December 31st. Capacity is limited. Don’t miss out. This is a 21+ only event.

The Big Tree Inn is excited to host a special New Year’s Eve Prix-Fixe Dinner to celebrate the New Year!
The dinner includes a four-course, candlelit meal in our historic inn. Entree Selections will be due with your reservation.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Reservations are $90 per person including tax. Gratuity is not included in ticket price.
Guests joining us on New Year’s Eve with a dinner reservation are welcome to join us at a discounted ticket price ($10 per person) for the New Year’s Eve party taking place in our ballroom from 8:30pm-12:30pm.
